via Stay22About this place Drama
Drama is a gay café-bar in Berlin's Kreuzberg, a neighborhood that still feels like it has a pulse.
You'll find it at 63 Mehringdamm, tucked among other spots that make Kreuzberg's LGBTQ+ scene what it is. It’s a café by day, a bar by night – which means it’s a useful place to know about, no matter when you’re looking for a drink or a coffee.
Kreuzberg has always been an important place for Berlin's queer community, and Drama keeps that going. The vibe is more relaxed than the bigger clubs, a spot to actually talk to people. This area pulls in a real mix of locals and visitors, thanks to its artsy, open-minded spirit.
So whether you’re after an afternoon espresso, an evening cocktail, or just a sense of the local atmosphere, Drama delivers one of Berlin’s established LGBTQ+ spaces. It’s like the rest of Kreuzberg: easy to get to by public transport, and good for walking around, so you can check out other places nearby.

I participated in the BAS Masterclass and am so grateful for this experience! Seeing and experiencing firsthand how the "Prod Technique" helps you play more concretely, directly, and vividly on stage was incredibly enriching! Thank you! I'll be back! Susanna Simon
I can honestly say the Berlin Acting Studio changed the way I understand acting. Before coming here, I was often stuck in my head – trying to “do it right,” trying to follow directions, trying to control everything. The “Repeat” work completely shifted that for me. For the first time, I really learned how to *react* instead of think. To trust what’s happening in my body, in the moment – not what someone tells me it should look like. That’s something I’ve honestly been missing on many sets and even in theatre. The work is raw, real, and sometimes uncomfortable – but in the best possible way. You’re not hiding behind technique, you’re actually *experiencing* something. And that’s where it becomes alive. The atmosphere is supportive but also pushes you to go deeper than you thought you could. You’re seen, challenged, and taken seriously. For me, this is hands down the best place to learn acting. Better than my drama school experience – I learned more in 9 weeks here than in 4 years before. I’m definitely joining the Symbiose workshop with Iris Baumüller – and I honestly can’t wait to keep going...
I attended the Symbiosis Workshop as well as Seminars 1 and 2 at the Berlin Acting Studio, and my expectations were more than exceeded. Prod works with meticulous precision and on an equal footing. I came to the workshop with a clear goal and was able to achieve and even surpass it within a short time. The collaborative work on scenes, exercises, and personal development takes place in a truly safe space where individual attention is given to each participant. During this time, I acquired many essential acting tools, especially the techniques that Prod teaches, which work best for me personally. I've attended several workshops and seminars before and learned something from each one. However, with Prod, you receive a clear roadmap for how to concretely apply the learned tools to practical work on roles and on set. You learn to incorporate a character's circumstances, to truly listen and perceive, to utilize the location and environment, to recognize obstacles, and to work with clear actions to achieve the character's need. Topics such as relaxation, sense memory, precise text analysis, body work, and character development are taught in a way that makes acting significantly more concrete, detailed, and reliable. All of this, and much more, has considerably expanded my craft and given me a completely new perspective on acting, on my own work, and on what I do. I've realized how important it is, and above all, how much fun it is, to continue exploring, and especially not to be afraid of failure, but to see it as part of the process. I am very grateful for this incredibly valuable and inspiring time. The studio, the production team, and the people from the seminar have become very dear to me. I will definitely remain loyal to the Berlin Acting Studio and am very much looking forward to future work. 💪🏼❤️
Intense High level If you want, you can push yourself beyond your limits here I love Prod's direct, honest, and incisive feedback – no fluff, no sugarcoating Personally, I felt completely at ease. It was a space where I was challenged, my strengths were reinforced, and where I wanted to and could confront my weaknesses. In Seminar 1 and Seminar 2, Prod and his team put together an amazing group. Thanks to everyone involved! And thanks to Eva, Lena, Natascha, and Prod for your offer – Berlin Acting Studio!
I participated in Workshop 1 and Workshop 2 at the Berlin Acting Studio, a total of nine weeks, and my expectations were more than exceeded. Prod has a talent for truly perceiving situations, recognizing individuals, and drawing out exactly what's inside them. He understands how to see different personalities, recognize the core of their being, and meet them exactly where they are. At the same time, he manages to push each person, address their individual needs, and guide everyone as far as they allow and want to go. I wanted to be completely pushed, and that's exactly what I got! I managed to step completely outside my comfort zone and do things I never thought I would do. This helped me tremendously to grow beyond myself and break through my own limitations. What made the workshops so special was the absolute safe space. Prod and his team, together with the other wonderful participants, created an atmosphere where everyone felt comfortable and secure at all times. The people there have truly grown on me. The communication was open, respectful, and on equal footing, which made it incredibly easy to let go and try new things. During this time, I learned many new methods and techniques that I will definitely use, and above all, with Prod's help, I found the exact technique that works best for me personally. In addition, I learned a lot about my acting skills, discovered relaxation techniques, and now know how to use them effectively on set. Honestly, I learned far more in these two workshops than in two years of drama school. I am extremely grateful for that. I will definitely remain loyal to the Berlin Acting Studio and am very much looking forward to future workshops! THANK YOU for the incredibly enriching and wonderful time!
Surrounded by amazing and talented people, Prod manages to forge a cohesive unit from a diverse group of individuals. With the Berlin Acting Studio, he has created a space where everyone can push their boundaries. The seminars are for anyone who wants to grow beyond their perceived limitations as an actor, director, or simply as a person. Prod overlooks nothing. His attention to detail and intuition will propel anyone who engages with his work forward. He conveys his methods and techniques in a way that makes them tangible and adapts them to the individual needs of the participants. He never forgets the person behind the performance. Participating in the seminar was exactly the right path for me and has nourished me with creativity and motivation for weeks. I highly recommend it!
"Observe and evaluate" Prodromos Antoniadis sees everything. And what's special is: he can name it and knows exactly how to work with it. You want to impress him and at the same time make mistakes so that he'll work with you. That's precisely what creates an intense, safe, and honest working environment. I believe that not only I, but also my future playing partners, will benefit from this seminar.
