BarbieBar is a drag spot in Berlin’s Mehringdamm, all pink, all camp, all the time. It’s got that knowing wink, the kind of place that takes its Barbie obsession seriously, with dolls and accessories everywhere you look.
Berlin’s gay scene runs the gamut, from serious techno clubs to themed spots, and BarbieBar is definitely on the campier end. They’ve got a Gucci Lounge, which sounds fancy, but it’s really just a spot for cocktails, homemade cakes, and cookies. That makes it a bit softer around the edges than some of Berlin’s other nightlife.
If you're looking for drag and a good time, this is it. Just remember, they’re closed on Sundays.

It is currently 23:40 on a Saturday night. Although all signs point to being open, they are not. Wasted 45 minutes travelling here, definitely bummed.
Simply absolutely warm and very cozy.
tealight candles on tables, low lighting, lounge music with a good bass, not too loud, reasonably busy but not too busy, 2 pints for €11.
BarbieBar is a gem among Berlin's bars. Even as a straight person, I really enjoy coming here. It's so cozy and you immediately feel at ease. I love being here... 😎 😘 🤗
