via Stay22About this place Hotel Transit
This 50-room hotel in Kreuzberg, a former enamel picture factory, gives you an affordable stay with character.
You’ll find a loft vibe here, with big windows letting in plenty of light. It’s a good choice for LGBTQ+ travelers who want a budget-friendly place that still feels like somewhere you’d actually want to stay.
Kreuzberg has long been one of Berlin's more open neighborhoods for queer visitors, known for its progressive streak and a nightlife scene that feels less buttoned-up than some other parts of the city. Yes, the hotel isn’t right in Schöneberg, the traditional gay district further west, but Kreuzberg has enough cafes, bars, and galleries to keep you busy. And the U-Bahn at Mehringdamm makes it easy to get anywhere else you want to go.
If you like the style, the same group runs Hotel Transit Loft and Alex Hotel in Prenzlauer Berg, if you’d rather stay up there. Either way, these places give you a real Berlin experience without breaking the bank, and they’re genuinely friendly to LGBTQ+ guests.

The location is great and you can easily get everywhere. But the rooms are rather disappointing.
So, if you need a bed in the center of Berlin for a small price, this is the place to go. Very friendly staff, a simple but good breakfast (included in the room price). And at night you might even spot real Berlin foxes in the courtyard :). I'll definitely be back! Thanks for everything. Peace!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is a big plus. I highly recommend it.
The rooms were clean and average. The towels were not changed every day as stated. The breakfast was varied, and the location was excellent. You can get almost anywhere quickly, even on foot from the center of Berlin.
The rooms are clean, the staff speaks English and is very friendly, and the luggage lockers were a lifesaver. The breakfasts were delicious, I highly recommend staying there :)
Really bad hospitalily, breakfast didnt even had eggs. Rooms were really akward and just ugly, good if u just want to sleep and visit
