Novotel Berlin Am Tiergarten

The best Novotel in Berlin. Prime location, hundreds of free parking spaces right outside. S-Bahn station directly opposite the entrance. Walk your dog across the street to the Tiergarten park. Two lovely beer gardens are a five-minute walk away. Extremely clean rooms, good breakfast, super friendly staff. Child-friendly. I can't even list everything that made this hotel so positive. In a word: Superb!!!

I stayed at the Novotel Berlin Am Tiergarten for the first time and was delighted with the hotel, the room, and the attentive service of the staff. To sum it up: if the location works with my schedule, I will definitely return and can highly recommend this hotel. My Accor member status is also excellently accommodated. Update February 13, 2024: I really enjoy staying at the Novotel Berlin Am Tiergarten because it's a very nice hotel, the rooms are modern, cozy, and comfortable, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is excellent. The sauna and rooftop garden also deserve a mention. Update April 28, 2024: We were in Berlin again for business and this time brought our daughter along. We like the Novotel Berlin Am Tiergarten for several reasons: 1. The consistently friendly staff, both at reception and in the bar. 2. Very nice, modern, and clean rooms. 3. Our Platinum status is regularly rewarded with a room upgrade. 4. A very nice hotel, conveniently located for appointments in the western or eastern parts of the city. The Tiergarten S-Bahn station is right outside. 5. Partial views of the Tiergarten. Update February 3, 2025: It is incomprehensible to me that Accor could allow this hotel to close today! We wish all employees the very best for their professional and personal futures. We are incredibly saddened...

I stayed there from January 6th to 7th, 2025. I booked the hotel partly because of its appealing bar, which was supposed to be open until midnight. I had a long meeting that lasted late into the evening and was looking forward to enjoying a well-deserved after-work beer there. When I arrived back at the hotel at 10:30 p.m., the bar was already closed. Never again. I can understand wanting to close early on a Monday evening when business is slow, but then you shouldn't post incorrect opening hours on the website. A hotel bar also relies on reliable opening hours, and it's manageable if there are fewer guests on one evening.
