via Stay22About this place Stars Guesthouse
Stars Guesthouse is a decent, unassuming stay in Berlin's Schöneberg, a good base for LGBTQ+ travelers who want to explore the city without sleeping right in the thick of it.
It's in a residential area, just a few minutes from Berlin's main gay scene. That means bars, clubs, and community spaces are easy to get to, but you won't hear them when you’re trying to sleep.
You’ve got options here, depending on your budget and how much space you need. There are 13 rooms, each with its own look, and you can pick one with a private or shared bathroom. If you want more room, they also have 10 apartments. Every guest gets free WiFi.
Schöneberg has always been central to Berlin’s LGBTQ+ culture. From the guesthouse, you can walk or take a quick train to many of the district's long-standing gay venues and hangouts. The staff are friendly, the place is kept clean, and for the price, it’s a good deal.

The apartment is located in a very good area. The apartment itself is quite nice and comfortable, and the check-in/check-out process is convenient. However, the overall positive impression was ruined by the condition of the bed linen, Sleeping pillows and the set of towels. It felt as if they had been inherited from the owner’s grandmother. I believe that such important things should receive maximum attention.
Excellent location, accessible to transport, historical sites, shopping centers, fast food, ATMs, Asian restaurants, the landlord Herr Thomas is excellent, attentive to making your stay pleasant in the apartment, I recommend requesting it in advance.
Three of us stayed here for 8 nights. Excellent choice – everything we needed is available, with a metro station, supermarket, and plenty of shops, cafes, and restaurants nearby. Charlottenburg Palace is a 15-minute walk away. The bedroom is for a couple, and a child slept on the sofa in the living room, but the sofa is huge. The host is always available. The internet is stable. The apartment has everything you need and works perfectly. One thing to keep in mind: the apartment is on the ground floor (ground floor), with windows facing the sidewalk. So, with the windows open, you can hear passersby as if you were in a guest's apartment. (That's why the windows are frosted, so you won't have a view.) It can get hot in the summer – there's no air conditioning, but there's a fan (we didn't need it). Perhaps the pillows could be changed or added. Overall – wonderful.
Not recommended for young people , my daughter was there and she was only talking to me on the phone, an old man went to tell her to be quiet at 7:30pm because she was talking laid to me , we were just chatting. No ventilation but the door and window at the entrance, if opened, must be totally quiet for neighbours not to go and knock at your door . Can’t talk laud, can’t play any music. Maybe good for elderly people only
Beautifully furnished, lovely location, and a friendly, helpful landlord. 5/5 stars
Very clean, comfortable and near the metro. Super!
