Potemkin, in Berlin’s Schöneberg, is a gay-friendly, all-day Russian restaurant that’s been around since 2006. Its name nods to the 1905 mutiny, famous from Sergei Eisenstein’s 1925 film. Good value for money. I had the business lunch, good home-style cooking: chicken liver with mashed potatoes, well-seasoned, with a glass of wine for €20. You sit outside in one of Berlin's most beautiful spots. The friendly staff even took the time to chat with the guests. I'd gladly come back and try some other dishes.

Friendly and attentive service. Whether breakfast or dinner, the kitchen creates excellent dishes. Vikiplatz is one of the most beautiful squares in Berlin.
