About this place Café Berio

Café Berio is a café-bar on two floors at Nollendorfplatz, in the middle of Schöneberg's gay quarter. It isn't a gay bar as such. The crowd is mixed, but it has been a regular gay meeting spot for decades. It serves breakfast, lunch, cake and drinks all day. People come for the terrace: in summer the outdoor tables are packed and good for people-watching. The food and coffee are fine but nothing special. It gets especially busy during the Easter leather weekend and Folsom Europe, and in the afternoons before the Motzstraße bars open. The U-Bahn station at Nollendorfplatz is right outside.
