About this place BioKonditorei Tillmann

BioKonditorei Tillmann is a bakery and tea room in Berlin’s Wilmersdorf, a quietly residential part of the city.

You’ll find it on Ludwigkirchstraße, and it’s been there since 2000, though it changed hands in 2015. They make everything with organic flours—white, whole wheat, spelt—and focus on traditional baking. Think tall cakes, fruit tarts, Gugelhupf, and fresh bread and rolls, all with a homemade feel.

It’s a low-key place. No fuss, just good pastries and coffee or tea. This isn’t where you come for Instagram moments. It’s where you come for a reliable slice of cake and a bit of peace away from the tourist crush. A real neighborhood spot, and a good one for breakfast or an afternoon pick-me-up.

Check their website for current hours and what’s seasonal.

I ordered a filled baguette, they made it fresh for me, very nice selection of cakes, I discovered it by chance, I'll probably come more often 🙂

The best bread rolls in the area by far, and a super friendly saleswoman. We arrived half an hour early on Sunday morning and still managed to get rolls.

A lovely little organic café/bakery. The sandwich was freshly made by a young employee. She was very motivated and super friendly; the older lady with short hair could learn a thing or two from her ;-) The coffee was freshly brewed. The orange juice came in a small bottle. Water was free ❤️ Everything was delicious at a fair price of €10.50.

Great bakery! My parents lived across the street for over 20 years, and every morning my father went there to get rolls for breakfast. When I visit Berlin, I try to do the same – get the best rolls in town.
