A must-do on any Black Forest holiday. So much choice, you can try a few things.

I visited the Weis distillery's shop in Gutach a few days ago and bought my favorite spirit, "Topinambur, 1.0 Liter," also known as "Rossler" in the Baden region. However, I was so disappointed with the advice I received regarding the other Weis distillery products they offered that I can only advise against visiting and buying anything there. Firstly, there was no advice whatsoever; the salesperson had no knowledge of the ingredients or distillation techniques, and the whole experience was anything but pleasant. Furthermore, the legally required unit price display was missing from the shelf. But what annoyed me most was that Weis offers the same Topinambur spirit on Amazon for €11.99 per liter, including free shipping, while they charge €13.70 per liter in their own shop. This simply isn't acceptable; it's no wonder businesses are moving online. Firstly, there was no advice available. You set off for Gutach hoping for a positive shopping experience, but you're left far from satisfied, both in terms of expertise and price. The only positive aspect was the free gift (two samples) with a purchase over €200! I strongly advise against visiting this store and recommend shopping via Amazon and/or Kaufland & Co.!

I had the opportunity to be a guest at this company for a few days. The people there are friendly, kind and polite. As for the company shop, everyone will find something for themselves. It is worth taking some time to visit this place when you are in the area during a trip or vacation.

Fun and friendly people. You can try anything you want. It just depends on who has to drive afterwards. Very reasonable prices, huge selection.

Great company. Friendly and fun staff. Unloading was very quick. And the restrooms are very clean. All in all, a great stay with the truck. Would gladly use them again. And of course, a phenomenal panorama of the Black Forest! 👍🏻

Black Forest Delights at their Finest I discovered the Weis Distillery through the "Black Forest Devil" – and fell in love with it. Since then, I've been impressed by the quality and variety of their spirits. Besides the well-known classic, there are many other varieties to discover, from fine fruit brandies to unique liqueurs. I highly recommend that anyone in the area stop by, sample their different specialties, and take something delicious home with them. A true highlight for connoisseurs in the Black Forest!

On-site, there's a small shop selling all the distillery's spirits and liqueurs. They even offered small samples. We were very pleasantly surprised and received friendly service and advice. Making sure you have plenty of space in your trunk is a must. We left the shop with two full boxes of delicious products. Truly a factory outlet with excellent prices and a top-notch selection.
