No ac. No respondent if you are checking in at midnight. Shady vibes ..

The hallways were painted dark brown, and the carpets were beige/dark brown – there's certainly a reason for that. The room was only marginally clean. The bathroom door was so sticky you could barely touch it. The remote control was stuck to the side table. Nothing smelled even remotely fresh, neither the bed linens nor the towels. At least the bed linens looked as if they had been freshly made, which wasn't the case with the towels. It would probably be fine for a party night! I wouldn't book it again! I'm baffled as to how it got a 7.5 rating.

Beware of bed bugs!!! The room was very dirty and noisy. The window wouldn't close.

This hotel is a total rip-off. I've stayed in many hotels that have disappointed me and where I've had a terrible experience, but never one like this. The incredibly excessive price is absurd. The rooms are tiny, just two square meters of bathroom space; I haven't seen a shower with a curtain in thirty years. We had booked two rooms, both with two single beds; one was tiny and the other was microscopic! The smaller one was clearly a single converted into two to make money; it didn't have a desk or a wastepaper basket! It was so small that the door banged against one of the beds! The elevator looks like an old freight elevator and also seems very dangerous with those unsavory noises. It's also so small that it can only fit two people at a time. The incredible thing is that the elevator doesn't stop at the room floors, but rather at special landings between them! So I still have to climb a flight of stairs to get to my room! Our room also faced the stairs, so we could hear everyone coming and going. Service? None! In 4 days, they NEVER cleaned the room; this is intolerable in 2026! We had to ask for towels and toilet paper to be changed ourselves! Oh, be careful: there's no air conditioning, and the rooms become ovens in the summer heat! It was actually stated on Booking.com, but maybe you don't notice, since having air conditioning in rooms is almost a given these days. The location is fine, close to the station and plenty of places to eat, but as for the rest, I hope it closes soon.

Terrible ! Do not stay at this hotel !!!! I’ve stayed in better hostels than staying at the Adrett Hotel …. We had no smoke detector in our room it got never replaced, dirty floors, the rooms and bathrooms need to be updated. Absolutely terrible ! Never again !!!!

Very disappointing and unacceptable experience. The hotel room was extremely dirty and clearly not cleaned properly before my arrival. The hygiene standards were honestly shocking. The room was also very noisy, you could hear everything from outside and from neighboring rooms, making it impossible to rest properly. From the moment I entered the room, it already felt unclean. I found hair in the bathroom, including inside the shower, and even hair on the bed itself. It was honestly disgusting and made it obvious that the room had not been cleaned properly between guests. I reported the situation to the hotel around 10 PM and spent almost 2 hours trying to find a solution with them. They showed me two other rooms, but unfortunately they were in the same condition: dirty, poorly maintained, and not acceptable for a hotel stay. The worst part was when I tried to replace the bed sheets myself because they felt dirty and unclean. The mattress cover underneath had disgusting yellow and brown stains/circles on it. At that point, I no longer felt comfortable or hygienic staying there at all. And Still, even though I ended up spending the night elsewhere, the Hotel refused to refund me under the pretext that I left at 00:00. I was also promised a follow-up call regarding the refund, but I never received any call or update. Until now, I still have not received any refund. This experience completely ruined part of my trip. I would absolutely not recommend this hotel to anyone expecting basic cleanliness, comfort, professionalism, or decent customer service.

The check-in process was completely straightforward and went smoothly. Parking costs a bit, but it's reasonable. The staff was very friendly and the value for money was excellent. Anyone visiting Düsseldorf should definitely check out the Japanese Quarter. Thanks again to the staff for the tip!

Functional and clean rooms, good location, friendly staff, good value for money

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel in Düsseldorf. The location is ideal – central, yet quiet, so you can quickly reach both the old town and the main sights and shops. The room was modern, clean, and very comfortably furnished. I was particularly impressed by the friendly and attentive staff, who were always helpful and made my stay even more enjoyable.
