I stayed at this hotel on a Sunday night as an airport hotel using Marriott points. This hotel has a much different vibe than the London Heathrow Moxy. The entrance displays a graffitti and school locker theme. The reception - lounge area seems very hip with the shoeless and flip-flop crowd, so definately not pretentious. Great as a stopover since the Shopping Mall is handy for Sunday night Dinner and last minute shopping. Had a great nice sleep and the air conditioner kept up on a 95 degree night. Since the S-Bahn schedule is unpredicatable during their maintenance cycle, recommend using an Uber service to the airport. About 35 Euros.

Unfortunately, this was an absolute disaster. I got bedbug bites all over my body during my stay, which are definitely attributable to the hotel. My initial report to customer service was handled very professionally, and I would have liked to put the matter behind me. However, I've been trying unsuccessfully for several days to get an invoice from the hotel and either end up on hold or only receive a message that the general Marriott customer service has forwarded my request, but there's no response from the hotel. In my experience, this is simply unacceptable. I will never stay at this hotel again and can only warn others against it.

An Unbelievable Act of Hospitality – Moxy Frankfurt City Center I have to share what happened during my stay at the Moxy Hotel City Center in Frankfurt, because it's the kind of story that makes you a guest for life. After a great week at the hotel, I traveled to Nuremberg for a conference and returned later than the front desk's normal booking cutoff. The team still found a way to get me into the lobby rather than turning me away. While waiting there, I made a quick trip to the bathroom — and on my way back, I dropped my phone. It slipped through a tiny gap in the wall and landed underneath a concrete staircase with absolutely no access point. As an American traveler with all my credit cards and digital wallet on that phone, and no iCloud password memorized, I was suddenly in a genuinely stressful situation. What happened next is why I'm writing this review. The front desk staff, upon hearing what happened, offered me a room on the spot given the circumstances. The next morning, the maintenance team tried everything they could think of — including fishing for it with a broken mop handle — to retrieve the phone. When that didn't work, I asked about extending my stay one more night so I could make it to meetings I had scheduled, and the manager, Christian, made it happen without hesitation. I left for my meetings fully expecting the phone to be gone for good, bracing for the headache of replacing it from abroad. When I came back to the hotel and asked the front desk if there had been any updates, the woman at the desk simply handed me my phone. We were both stunned. The maintenance team had broken through two separate walls from a maintenance room just to reach the space under the stairs and get it out. That level of effort and care is something I've never experienced at a hotel before. The Moxy Frankfurt City Center didn't just offer a place to sleep — they went above and beyond, repeatedly, to take care of a guest in a tough spot. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone looking for not just a comfortable stay, but genuinely exceptional hospitality.
