No, unfortunately the hotel is very poorly maintained.

We were guests at this hotel on August 2nd, 2025, attending a wedding, and like other guests, we booked a room. As described in other reviews, the accommodation was miserable: run-down, dirty, and full of mold in the bathroom. Breakfast was ridiculous; they cut four small pieces from one slice of sausage just to fill the plate. I've never experienced anything like it. Even the entrance hints at the general dismal state of the building. There's no style, decorations are scattered haphazardly – ​​as the saying goes, "less is more" – and everything is oppressive and uninviting. It looks dirty, stained, and kitschy. Even the menu in the entrance area was dented, dirty, and not at all pleasant to see. This hotel does a disservice to the otherwise beautiful location (a castle park) and the town itself. A thorough inspection should be conducted to determine whether hygiene regulations are being followed; in our opinion, they are not. If this hotel were brought up to standard, it would be a gem, but as it is, it is a great annoyance for the guests who unfortunately stayed there, especially considering the exorbitant price that the hotel in no way justifies.

I can only echo the previous negative reviews. Everything has already been said: good location and actually ideally suited for weddings and family celebrations. BUT the rooms are completely overpriced, old, and dirty. A TV isn't essential, but a black and white tube with flickering colored elements??? ... they might as well not have one in the room at all. Breakfast was an outrage! Only cash payments were accepted, and the quality was truly appalling.

Paid more than discussed on the phone. The room was a disaster, from the bed to the carpet. The extra beds were noisy with every movement (like military-style frames). In some bathrooms, the soap dispensers have probably never even seen the inside of a bar of soap. Breakfast was edible, but there were too few options, making it overpriced. Would I recommend it to others? No! Renovate the rooms, and you'll probably attract many more guests.

I absolutely cannot recommend this place. I have never, by far, slept in such a dreadful room. Had we not been wedding guests, I would never have stayed there. Luckily, it was only one night. The carpet was horribly stained, the bed linens were yellowed, the furniture was ancient, and it smelled musty.

For our wonderful wedding in the Kurpark (spa park), we had our guests stay at the Kurpark Hotel to have accommodation right there on site. However, that was a mistake... It left a terrible impression on our otherwise perfect wedding celebration. We personally stayed in the guest rooms above the Electoral Kitchen and therefore only booked breakfast to have a cozy end to the evening with our guests. A complete disaster... They charged €17 per person, and it wasn't even worth 17 cents. You can get a better breakfast at any bakery. The cheese slices couldn't be cut any smaller, the selection, quality, and ambiance were truly abysmal. And we don't even need to talk about the payment process. Everything was impersonal, heartless, and overpriced! It's such a shame... everything could have come together so perfectly. But this hotel is definitely not recommended. It's a pity for our guests to have this as the last impression of our wedding.

A night in a time capsule – stay away! Where do I begin? This hotel is an absolute disaster and doesn't even deserve a star. It seems as if no one has lifted a finger to renovate or modernize anything here for at least 20 years. The result is a completely run-down hotel. Stains everywhere you look: on the chairs, the carpet, and in the bathroom. It was disgusting. The TV is a joke – a device that would have been outdated even 20 years ago, and completely unusable. The rooms are also incredibly noisy. You could hear every noise from the hallway and neighboring rooms. But the absolute highlight, in a negative sense, was the breakfast. I've seen a lot, but this took the cake. It was abysmal and in no way worth the money. What you pay for the overnight stay and this "breakfast" here is outrageous. The value for money is absolutely terrible. I strongly advise anyone not to stay here. Save yourself the money and the hassle!
