A long-standing outdoor cruising spot in the Saaleaue meadows near the Pferderennbahn (racecourse), west of the centre. The gravel-pit lake and its car park have been a known gay and bisexual meeting point for years, busiest in warmer months and after dark at the parking area. It is a public nature area, so ordinary discretion and respect for other users apply; Germany's laws are LGBTQ+-friendly, but public-sex rules still apply in the open.

There are often many great events here, especially horse races. The horse races are really fun, and the racetrack has a lovely and pleasant atmosphere. Sometimes there are also small concerts. These are very intimate and a lot of fun!
