25hours Hotel HafenCity

Here you can stay in a quiet yet central location with a cool atmosphere. Many thanks to the friendly receptionist who, among other things, saved the day with our broken suitcase! That was fantastic! Another highlight: the candy bar in the reception area, where you can create your own bag of gummy bears. :-) The entertainment area on the first floor is definitely worth a visit; it also has a small outdoor terrace overlooking the green courtyard.

I exclusively stay at 25 hours hotels when I can due to how fun and boutique they are. They always have fun rooms, that are well designed but unique and quirky but functional. I cannot give them enough praise. I wish I could have stayed longer but I got delayed and they still had a beautiful room for me. It’s for sure the spot to stay and follows the vibe of the city really well. Only thing I wish is that they would offer mattress toppers or softer mattresses they are incredibly firm almost board like. Luckily I used the other comforter as a mattress pad since it was just me staying and it worked out great.

Not good. The price/performance ratio is poor. The bed is very uncomfortable with a rock-hard mattress and terrible pillows. The bed felt like there was no slatted base under the mattress. The rooms are incredibly dark. On top of that, the mirror in the bathroom is recessed. If you want to put on makeup, you have to hope it works – you can't really see the result properly in that light. Cleanliness was mediocre. Maybe that's why it's so dark? The design is a matter of taste. To me, it seemed cluttered. There's no bar where you can sit in the evening. Another fail. The only good thing is the location. Hence 2 stars; actually, 1 star would be more appropriate for the price. Price: Significantly more expensive than Motel One despite the considerably inferior hotel amenities.

Dear 25hours Team - Dear Sophie I had the pleasure of spending my birthday at the wonderful 25hours Hotel HafenCity in Hamburg, and it was an unforgettable experience. I was genuinely touched by the personal welcome card — such a thoughtful gesture. The room was everything I love about 25hours: full of charming little details, creativity, and character. And the view was simply spectacular. For me — and especially for my band — 25hours is rightfully the best hotel chain in the world. Every stay feels special, inspiring, and full of heart. All aboard at the 25hours Hotel Hamburg Hafencity! A beautifully and originally decorated hotel in a nautical style. All the necessary amenities in the spacious (family) room, super friendly service throughout, and a perfect, extensive breakfast buffet that leaves nothing to be desired. Centrally located, bus lines within walking distance – we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Hamburg!

Typical 25hours Hotel experience. Perfect location, very friendly and personal welcome with check-in. Great room (our requests were taken into account). Extensive breakfast and relaxed check-out. We'd love to come back. Thank you. Dennis
