READING & DISCUSSION
With CHRISTINA CLEMM

What do court proceedings tell us about our society? In her new book “Ein ungehaltenes Plädoyer” (An Unrestrained Plea), CHRISTINA CLEMM takes readers into the courtroom and shows how closely violence is linked to societal power structures.

Based on her experience as a lawyer, she makes visible where we as a society fail – and at the same time, she outlines a perspective for a more solidary and just future. A powerful, personal plea for justice, responsibility, and the question of what needs to change.

CHRISTINA CLEMM is an author and a specialist lawyer for family and criminal law in Berlin. For over 25 years, she has represented victims of gender-based, racist, and right-wing extremist violence and is one of the most prominent voices on the topics of violence, law, and social responsibility. || Admission: by self-assessment
