Englischer Garten – Schönfeldwiese

The surfers' area is nice. I recommend dinner in the beer garden near the Chinese Tower...the beer flows freely.

Amazing, huge, suitable for everyone and full of resources

This huge and meticulously maintained public park is a must-see if you're in Munich. A green lung in the city, full of walking and cycling trails, it's perfect for relaxing in the shade on an August day, enjoying nature and a beer under the Chinese Tower. You can take a dip, or even surf, in the stream that flows through it, let the dog run free, or soak up the sun in your swimsuit as if you were at the beach. A real treat!

The English Garden is really huge, but you aren't planning to walk around the whole place, are you? If you are going to the surfing spot, don't just search for this place; instead, search for Eisbachwelle on Google and go there. You only need to walk around that part. The rest of the area is just a typical park like those in other cities.

Finding cities that have space for relaxation in the greenery is priceless.

A beautiful park with a river running through it, where you can refresh yourself, see swans, geese and possibly refresh yourself in the buffet. We didn't go through it all, it's very big, there's also a playground and sports fields
