Englischer Garten – Schönfeldwiese

The Schönfeldwiese is the central nudist (FKK) meadow of the Englischer Garten, one of Europe's largest urban parks, and one of Munich's most central and long-established gay cruising areas. It is busiest on summer afternoons and at dusk, with the wooded fringes and the small bridge near Lerchenfeldstraße being the traditional cruising sections. The meadow itself is a legal, long-tolerated FKK zone used by the general public; cruising is discreet and takes place in the surrounding tree cover rather than in the open. Ordinary public-decency rules apply. The park is easily reached on foot from the Lehel / Universität area.
