Hôtel Bristol Munich

The room was very small, but incredibly cozy. Great bathroom. Everything was very clean. A wardrobe would have been the icing on the cake. But I managed perfectly well without one. The staff are incredibly friendly and available 24/7. The hotel food is amazing! The breakfast buffet is also delicious and beautifully presented (for example, each egg is hand-painted). I felt very comfortable at the hotel and would book it again in a heartbeat!

Great place, food and people

Friendly staff who are proficient with computers and printers will greet you here. I appreciate being able to choose whether or not I want my room cleaned. Unfortunately, there's no wardrobe in the room for storing my clothes and luggage, nor even a small refrigerator. I booked without breakfast, so I can't comment on that. It's absolutely essential to book the parking space for €15. The parking situation around the hotel is terrible.

It's quite remote, hence the lower price. The bathroom doesn't have proper ventilation, which makes the rooms quite humid, and you can smell it here and there. There's no desk. The reception staff are absolutely unacceptable. We had two reservations that were linked. We had already clarified this with the hotel two weeks prior, and the receptionist entered everything into the system. My friend, who arrived earlier, also informed reception again that same evening that someone else would be arriving. Despite this, check-in was a slow process. The receptionist initially made a mistake and barely managed to enter everything into the system. We had to explain the whole situation again. For the third time. We were also told we would have to reactivate our card in the meantime due to the two bookings. This wasn't possible two days later. The receptionist spoke hardly any German and wanted us to explain the whole situation again. My friend had already explained the situation to this very same employee once before, without success. She barely understood anything. She didn't even think to check the system herself. She insisted that we come to reception AGAIN with the second booking number. This would have been our fifth contact about the same issue. She was also rude because she didn't understand what the problem was. It seems like no one knows what anyone else is doing; their competence is barely sufficient for a simple check-in and check-out. Asking further questions gets you nowhere, even after explaining everything to several employees and being told multiple times that everything was fine. I've never experienced anything like it.
