Klappe am Domplatz

The underground public toilets at the Domplatz, in the heart of the old town by the cathedral, are a long-documented indoor gay cruising spot ("Klappe" in German slang). It is a small, central and discreet location rather than an outdoor area, most active during the day and early evening. As with any public facility, use common sense: it is a shared public toilet, activity is informal and unofficial, and discretion is expected.
