Heraklion Pride

Heraklion's Pride is self-organised and has run since 2015. An assembly of mostly student and left-wing queer activists organises it. It takes no money from political parties, institutions or businesses and funds itself with merch sales and pre-Pride parties.

It's a three-day festival in July, based in Georgiadis Park. There's a midday march through the centre, open mics, drag, punk and rap nights, workshops and political talks. We found no attendance figures, and the dates move around from year to year.

The 2027 dates hadn't been announced when we checked.
