On the plus side it’s central and the bed was comfortable. The rest was a total disappointment. The room was quite run down. Lots of scuff marks on the walls, cracked sink, dirty windows, shower screen full, no glasses to drink water, a random boxy fridge in the room. There were stains on the ceiling both in the bathroom and bedroom. Looked nothing like any of the pictures. A bit shameful to allow a room to be used in this condition. It was also not possible to watch any tv channel (so no World Cup game to watch) as none was set up and when we tried it did not work. The whole hotel set up is weird, Split across two billings with a stairway that’s smelly.

Rooms are terrible. No outlets by the bed. No towels were in the room. The hotel bartenders check you in. There is no front desk. I had to go to the bartender to ask for towels which was weird. They close the street in the summer to cars so you have to park by the water and lug your bags to the bar where they give you a key. No soap in the shower. No luggage racks in room so you have to sit your bags on the floor. This is a cheap hotel. In June when it never gets dark, the blinds don’t block out the light. It’s noisy, I can hear a sliding door downstairs and voices very clearly. This place is awful if you want to sleep. Stay elsewhere.

This guesthouse is located in the pedestrian area, just a short walk from the port where whale watching excursions depart. There are plenty of paid parking lots nearby, free on weekends. The room was a decent size and quiet. There's a common area for making coffee/tea or a quick breakfast. Check-in takes place at the bar/restaurant below the rooms. Both the bar and restaurant are good, with prices in line with the location. Good value for money.
