Limerick Pride

Limerick Pride is the city's biggest LGBTQ+ celebration, held each July on the banks of the Shannon. First staged as a Pride night in 2001 with the first full parade in 2007, it has grown into one of the largest Pride festivals in Ireland outside Dublin, drawing crowds from across Munster. Organised by the volunteer-led Limerick Pride collective, the week features a parade, community stalls, live entertainment and social events, with an after-party (the "Climax" party) at Dolan's Warehouse on the Dock Road. In 2026 the festival runs 6–11 July, with the parade on Saturday 11 July gathering at Pery Square from 1pm and setting off around 2:15pm.
