35 years ago it was idyllic, too big, I was a wayward boy. I'll add that Emanuela's friend has never seen this beach.
Trail starts off the hiking path between markers 39 and 40 but don’t waste your time making your way through the thorny brush down to the beach. Due to landslides, the only way to the actual beach is a rope down an angled wall, ca. 20 meters, just smooth wall besides a few rusty steps barely hanging in the middle. We did not dare. Waste of time and energy, and a great disappointment for the family :-(
I recommend swimming on this beach to see Vernazza which is spectacular, I recommend getting a train pass to see all the Cinque Terre and also to do the paths that connect all the Cinque Terre, they are spectacular.
Vernazza Beach is a charming little beach, with clear water and a truly picturesque atmosphere.
Bernazza may well be the most beautiful of the Cinque Terre!
