Beautiful hotel right next to the Domo square. Exceptional service and attention to every need.

Unbeatable location, right in the heart of Milan. Just steps away, literally, from one of the entrances to the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and 200 meters from the Duomo. The room was small, but impeccably clean. We weren't lucky with the view, as it overlooked an elevator in the adjacent building. The windows do provide some privacy, as it can be a bit noisy at night. The bathroom was spacious and comfortable, with everything you need. The hotel is small but modern and beautifully decorated. The breakfast is incredibly varied and generous. It's worth every penny. We hope to return soon.

The staff at Room Mate Giulia define what true hospitality means! Upon checking in on June 3rd, I realized that we had left our 3 passports and a significant amount of cash in the safe of our previous hotel in Parma. ​While trying to coordinate at the front desk, the Concierge Manager, Mr. Andre, immediately stepped in with a solution to retrieve our belongings for us. By 8:00 PM that evening, everything was safely delivered to us at the hotel. ​The entire team here is outstanding—always smiling, incredibly friendly, and willing to go above and beyond to help guests with problems that aren't even theirs to solve. A massive, heartfelt thank you to Mr. Andre and the entire team for saving our holiday. Highly, highly recommend staying here!

Incredible location and the room and bathroom was very clean. Staff was kind and helpful and the breakfast was an easy way to start the day. Our room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. Great value for the price and would absolutely stay here again if I am in Milan!

This is my second time staying at a Roommate Hotel (the first being Oscar Roommate in Madrid). I had wonderful experiences at both. Roommate Gulia is practically located in the Galleria and in Duomo Piazza. It is adjacent to subways, trolleys, and taxi stands and is in a very walkable area. The entirety of the staff is hardworking and kind. I would recommend including breakfast in your stay as it is an excellent way to start the mornings. We stayed in the “junior suite” which is very spacious, modern, and has high ceilings. The air conditioning was impeccable which was important given Milan was in a heat wave during our stay.

Excellent location near the Duomo, upscale and quiet. All the staff were excellent. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the air conditioning is good. I was very comfortable during my stay at this hotel. The prices are high, but they are reasonable for the location, cleanliness, and everything was perfect. Thank you.

Highly recommend. Central location, friendly and attentive staff, clean and quiet rooms. This was our first time visiting Milan and it was the perfect home base for sightseeing. Just steps away from the Duomo, Galleria, and restaurants. About 15 min walk to Sforza Castle or Brera District. Subway and trolley stops nearby to explore further afield. The room was spotless and quiet (facing the interior courtyard). As others have shared, the staff here couldn't be nicer. Special thanks to Benedetta at reception and the ladies in the breakfast room. Breakfast buffet available in the mornings, which can be charged to your room. We originally planned to go out for breakfast, but we ended up having breakfast at the hotel several times during our stay due to the great selection and friendly staff. Nice way to start our day before heading out into the city. Note that the street in front of the hotel is currently under construction, which the hotel informed us about ahead of time. For taxis, we found it easiest to use the taxi rank at Piazza del Duomo during this road closure, which is less than 2 minutes walk.

After a 6 nights stay at the Room Mate Giulia in Milan I can say that it has been by far my best experience staying in a hotel, ever. We travel to Europe at least twice a year and while we’ve had other positive stays, the Giulia was exceptional! From the friendly and caring service by the staff, every one of them, to the super helpful and enthusiastic Alessandro. The lobby is an oasis to enjoy a cocktail after a busy day of sight seeing. We stayed in 2 different Superior rooms since we left for 3 nights but returned to finish our trip in Milan, were spacious, clean, and quiet. Comfortable beds, well stocked coffee bar, ample closet space. Perfect location, half a block away from Metro stop Duomo and another 10 feet to THE Duomo and all the restaurants and shops around it.
