Hotel Romeo Rome: A splendid property with excellent staff! I visited this hotel for a site inspection and was extremely impressed. The property is elegant and meticulously maintained. Special praise goes to all the staff: Angelo's welcome at the entrance was warm and impeccable, and Daniele was fantastic in guiding me through the hotel tour, demonstrating great professionalism and passion. Even though I didn't stay in the rooms, the customer service is clearly top-notch. I hope to return soon!
The room is fantastic and the staff are phenomenal! We stay here for four nights and The staff at the restaurant can remember my preference from day 1. The breakfast is awesome, I had the best omelette! Much better than the one I had in the US ☺️I highly recommend. It’s so elegant and nicely made. I will come back for sure
I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience coordinating with the Romeo Hotel team, and especially Luca from the reservation team! Securing my booking required quite a bit of back-and-forth communication, but the team handled everything flawlessly. I am incredibly grateful that they successfully secured the room for my stay. A special, heartfelt thank you goes to Luca. He truly redefines what exceptional customer service means. Luca always puts the guests first; he went above and beyond to solve every single issue with genuine care and sincerity. His proactive follow-ups made me feel completely taken care of, and I can honestly say I have never encountered a hotel staff member this dedicated and outstanding. The hotel is incredibly fortunate to have Luca on their team, and meeting him was an absolute blessing. I am so excited for my stay here! If you are planning a trip, rest assured that this team will go the extra mile for you. Highly recommended! (updates) I just checked in with my dog. This hotel is amazing! So considerate that they even prepare the dog bed and bowls and welcome wine 😭I am so glad that I will stay here for four nights!!!
Many of the reviews here are angry people who didn’t stay or eat. They make me laugh. As an ACTUAL GUEST of four nights, I had an amazing stay. The hotel is pristine. The staff are professional. The breakfast is INSANE. The best French toast of my life. The cookpot carbonara are the best fried eggs of my life. The head chef has 20+ Michelin stars and it’s obvious. The sauna and steam are scorching. There is a great front door security and assistance presence. I was greeted by a familiar face at all instances. This is incredibly important to me. Most guests are out all day doing tours, etc. I’m more of a relaxer. The hotel was fully booked, yet I had the place almost all to myself during the day and it was awesome. I’m on my 40+ night of hotels this year. I’ve seen the good, bad, and ugly. This is the good. Thank you everyone.
A LUXURY HOTEL WITH NO GUESTS. WHY IS ROMEO ROMA TOTALLY EMPTY? I was initially drawn to ROMEO Roma because of the connection with Zaha Hadid, and I expected a visionary luxury experience. Unfortunately, the reality was deeply disappointing. The design is undeniably impressive, but the hotel has no real soul or atmosphere — everything feels cold, sterile and emotionally disconnected from the energy of Rome. What really surprised me was how deserted it was. In a city where luxury hotels are usually buzzing with international guests, this place felt almost ghostly. Walking through the lobby, restaurant areas and common spaces, you constantly have the sensation of being completely alone in a giant luxury set. And the real question is: why are most hotels in Rome full, vibrant and alive, while this one feels totally empty? In a city overflowing with charm, warmth and hospitality, the lack of atmosphere here becomes impossible not to notice.
