I booked independent hotel for 4 days 3 night without breakfast for $1249 n was given independent suites instead without 24 hour front desk, rooftop bar , the walk way was so scary and Eeere and I had to open the wooden main door with a metal key without feeling so insecure . This independent suites cost only about $280 per night and for 3 nights , it only cost almost $900 and I’m paying $349 more for a hotel that I didnt book . Hotel in Agoda is the independent hotel . Address is different also . Checked in at 730pm in 30/5 Message Agoda at 730pm to cancel n refund but Agoda only replied at 1am after almost 6 hours and pushed the blame to the property that they refused to compensate . And the property didn’t honor what they are supposed to give me. I want a hotel with 24 hours front desk that’s y I book independent hotel and not independent suites The property didn’t want to refund or offer to pay me back the difference and mention that is personal issue 🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ not hotel problem , cannot cancel blah blah blah …. This is cheating .. when I paying for the independent hotel but I get independent suites instead. Would anyone want to get a 2nd class if they pay for first class ? And through their official website for the independent hotel , they are rooms available in the system to allow you to book but the front desk said they are totally full on 30/5. -2/6/26 . This is a v v very bad experience and bad service n don’t book this hotel , you will be the next victim like me. Booked 5 hotels through Agoda for this May /June holiday trip and this is the last hotel I stayed for the trip n was such a disappointed that I am cheated for not giving the hotel I booked Will never go back to Agoda n such property ever again . Take note if u wan to book this hotel n through Agoda as if issue arise , both didn’t want to honor it n pushed the blame to one amd other .

We had a lovely evening on the rooftop terrace. The DJ played pleasant music, and the food and drinks were very good.

The Indenpendent Hotel is the perfect place if you are going to Rome. Very warm and pleasant welcome when we arrived at the hotel, a bottle of prosecco and a handwritten welcome in the room. The hotel is very well located in Rome and the room we stayed in was a good size compared to hotel rooms in Rome, very nice bathroom and balcony. Nice terrace on the roof where breakfast is also served. Can definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely return on our next visit to Rome.

I stayed from May 7 to May 9. The location was decent, the room condition itself was good, and the female staff member who helped me check out on the morning of May 9 was kind. However, everything else was more than enough to ruin my last itinerary in Europe. It seemed like the hotel viewed me as a pushover rather than a customer. The fee for one night was charged on April 27, and the remaining balance was paid upon check-in on May 7. An hour later, the exact same amount charged on April 27 was automatically withdrawn. The employee on May 7 said they would return the money upon checkout, but the afternoon employee on May 9 offered no apology, told a completely different story, and simply told me to email the hotel, showing absolutely no intention of resolving the issue. If that is all they are going to say, I wonder why they are even working there... I have sent an email, so I will wait and see if something comes. The service was very unpleasant. I hope they manage their official website properly as well. I leave questions on "Contact Us" but don't get a reply, and my reservation isn't even being properly verified. What is the point of this? I have to return home, so I paid the money for now, but I hope you reply to my email and return the money as soon as possible. I want to talk about other incidents as well, but I have nothing to say... Mamma Mia.

To all the other staff members who helped me with my luggage and who answered my questions, they were excellent and professional, and sincerely helpful and kind. The tall, big-headed Italian man with a booming voice shook his head and showed constant annoyance whenever he saw an Asian person who couldn't speak English. I hope you have the patience and kindness to explain things to others when they cannot speak. It is a pity that you cannot do that. Also, the woman nearing middle age lacked manners. I hope you will maintain some decorum. However, the other staff members who carried my luggage and responded to other requests were very kind. I would like to express my gratitude to them.

It is close to Termini Station, and the accommodation is quite spacious compared to other places, so there was plenty of room even with two large suitcases spread out. The clean breakfast and friendly staff were also great! The gym is very small, but it was good for a moderate workout, and the time spent sitting on the terrace drinking beer and eating pizza was truly wonderful!!! If I visit Rome again, I think I will stay here again!
