Hotel Centrale Trieste

Without a doubt, the most obvious advantage of the property is its central location. This isn't the only plus, as we found both the rooms and common areas impeccably clean. The concierge service is 24/7 and the staff are friendly. The breakfast prepared by Mr. Stefano is also a truly excellent way to start the day. Recommended if you're looking for a convenient base for exploring the city without worrying about transportation.

My son stayed at this hotel on a school trip. The breakfast and dinner were so terrible they would disgust a 13-year-old. The staff in this 50-room hotel consists of an elderly employee and an elderly lady who only worked one day. I paid €220 for two nightmare nights. The complimentary toiletries were nonexistent, and the hotel is so poor it couldn't even own a building because the ground floor was just shops and there were other apartments as well. My son was woken up one morning at 6:30 by a drunk swearing, so the location is more of a drawback because if you want to go downtown you can just take the car.

I stayed with my mom for 2 nights at Easter. The location was excellent, the room clean, the staff very friendly, and the breakfast was plentiful. Special thanks to Stefano. We'll definitely be back.

The hotel's location is perfect, right in the city center, directly on the Grand Canal. The room was tastefully decorated, everything was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The reception was always staffed, which was very convenient. The breakfast was also excellent, with a wide selection, perfect coffee, and croissants. The tomatoes with mozzarella were delicious! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Top-notch!

We stayed at the centrally located hotel in Trieste for 4 nights over Easter 2026. The location is quiet yet convenient for visiting all the sights on foot. The room was simple and comfortable. The 24-hour reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful with our every need. Breakfast was varied and plentiful for a 3-star hotel. We particularly appreciated Stefano's friendliness and attentiveness in the breakfast room.

I went on a class trip to this hotel. While I really appreciated the service and the friendliness of the staff, the service was completely disproportionate to the insane prices. The food quality was so poor that we ate at the kebab shop near the hotel. The rooms were very mediocre and quite dirty. Good intentions, but minimal results.

I stayed with my school this week at your hotel in the center of Trieste, and I have to say I had a really bad experience. The food was awful, and the owner was downright stingy, even going so far as to save on water by offering us pre-opened bottles of tap water on the table. The rooms are quite dirty and decidedly small, some with shared bathrooms outside. I'm sorry it will probably be written off as having the wrong hotel or that you don't know I was your guest, but the place is truly squalid. If I may express my opinion, be less stingy, and the reviews would be different.

My son recently stayed at this property on a school trip. Unfortunately, the rooms assigned to the kids were in appallingly unsanitary conditions! Dirty sheets and blankets, dust on the floor, tissue and toothpick residue under the beds, no toiletries, questionable dinner and breakfast... I don't think such poor treatment is right, just because these are kids. It's truly a disgrace!

Good hotel

We ended up here by chance, following an emergency. Two adults and a baby. The facility is simple but clean. They welcomed us immediately with great kindness. The staff is always available to help with any need, day or night. Friendliness and courtesy are paramount. The rooms have been renovated and are well-maintained, the only flaw being the bathroom, which needs updating. Breakfast offers a variety of options, from sweet to savory. Impeccable location. We had a great time.

great location, super friendly service by Stefano and team, quiet, very clean and we were very happy to spend 2 nights there with family
