Overall the hotel is very nice and had a superb location in the city! Very cosy lobby area, and a nice bakery/cafe attached to it in case you want a coffee or a little sweet treat :) We were a group so we had multiple rooms. Some of them are very nicely renovated, however, for one of them you could see that the room was very dated, and the wooden skirting around the shower was wet and crumbling. During “peak” hours there was little hot water and the water pressure was so weak I almost couldn’t get the shampoo out of my hair. The breakfast room was very dark, so we didn’t see the bread on of first morning. But they offer outdoor seating when the weather is nice, and that was great!

In the middle of the old town, short walk to everything. The only negative was that the whole room shook when the neighboring rooms slammed their doors. Lots of noise in the streets from people and trash cans being emptied, remember to keep the window closed at night.

Modern, good hotel with friendly staff in the heart of the old town - perfect for exploring Riga.
