Clarion Hotel® The Edge

A very good hotel with a nice little bistrot. Friendly helpful staff. Like the other Clarion where we stayed in Helsinki, the breakfast was top-notch

Beware of breakfast: breakfast for two in the restaurant costs €75! There's also the option of breakfast in bed. This includes coffee and a croissant for less. However, nobody mentioned this to us upon arrival. Alternatively, you could simply go into town.

I live here when I'm in town, it's centrally located and I enjoy it here.

A very good hotel in Tromsø harbor. The rooms are spacious and welcoming, as are the hotel's common areas. It's very well located and offers a beautiful view overlooking the harbor.

Reception has a sign stating that construction drilling only takes place Monday to Friday. We arrived late after a long day of travel and were relieved to read it. On Saturday morning at 09:00 we were woken by extremely loud drilling — and it was still going after I complained at reception. When I raised it, it was laughed off. No apology, no offer of a different room, no explanation of why work was happening outside the hours the hotel itself had posted. If a hotel posts quiet weekends, it needs to deliver them — or at minimum take a guest seriously when it doesn't. Cannot recommend.

Very pleased with the stay!

Be sure to enjoy a drink 🍸 or more on the rooftop terrace and watch the sun's journey 🌞 at midnight in June/July...the bar is open until 1:00 am...absolutely stunning.
