A brand new hotel open since just a year. Very nice atmosphere, modern design and in a perfect location. From the roof top you have a beautiful view and you can dine inside an igloo

A very modern hotel with a cozy feel despite being relatively new. We stayed in a corner room with beautiful views of both the harbor and the surrounding mountains, which was easily one of the highlights of our stay. That said, a few things didn’t work as smoothly as expected. The air conditioning was quite unreliable, which became especially noticeable on warmer days. We also tried using the QR code in the room to contact reception, but it didn’t work, so we ended up calling the hotel directly from our personal phone. The reception staff were always friendly, although they didn’t seem to know what was causing the issue. During our last night, the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. It wasn’t a major disruption for us, but combined with the air conditioning problems, it suggested that there are still a few things the hotel needs to sort out. Breakfast looked extensive at first glance, although many of the stations offered similar items. The bread was fresh, and everything appeared fresh and well presented. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The views, the room, and the hotel’s modern design were definite highlights. At the same time, given that the hotel had already been operating for about a year when we visited, we were a little surprised by some of the issues we encountered. It’s also one of the more expensive hotel options in Tromsø.
