Clarion Hotel Trondheim

Beautifully located hotel! Downside: the windows are partially 'blinded' against the heat, so you enjoy the view less and can't take photos! Furthermore, the bedroom and bathroom are small. The price-quality ratio is off... Breakfast is top-notch: fresh products and a wide selection! Nice parking garage under the hotel, but expensive! 40 euros per night...

Upon my arrival, hotels across Norway were apparently on strike. The hotel had announced this beforehand. The only positive aspect was the lack of room service, which only emptied the wastebasket. I would have appreciated some compensation for this missed service. The room was quite nice with a view of the water, although a bit chilly. The hotel was generally quite quiet! It was also unfortunate that a TV update was taking place at that time! No TV! Parking was easy in the Pirobadet's attached parking garage, without needing a ticket. Of course, it was expensive!

The view was looking onto another building! The staff acted like they wanted to be somewhere else, the location was perfect for boarding the Hurtugruten.

Bad on allergies and food knowledge in general. But a cozy hotel by the fjord.

Large but atmospheric hotel, centrally located on the water.

Just want to compliment the reception staff. All so helpful and cheery under very trying circumstances. This was the same in the NOR restaurant with Dimitri and Kate. Only too happy to please. Clarion are lucky to have you. 👏
