What reviewers say

Visitors praise Woof X for its friendly atmosphere, welcoming staff, and good drinks at accessible prices, with some highlighting a small dark room for "real action" and good conversation. However, a significant complaint is the prevalence of smoking inside, which some find unhealthy and unpleasant, along with the bar being small and dated. There are also mentions of it not being open on certain days and not accepting card payments.

About this place Woof X

Woof X is a gay men's bar on Rua Manuel Bernardes in Príncipe Real, Lisbon's main gay district. It draws a bear and fetish-leaning crowd and is known for having a cruising area alongside the bar, so it's a different scene from the cocktail bars nearby. Reviews are mixed (3.9 from about 230). It's closed Mondays and opens from 21:00 the rest of the week, until 02:00, or 03:00 on Fridays and Saturdays. It gets busier late. Check woofxclub.com for theme or dress-code nights. Standard cruising-bar sense applies: keep your phone and wallet close, and respect people's limits.
