About this place HF Fenix Garden

HF Fenix Garden is a mid-range mainstream hotel on Rua Joaquim António de Aguiar, just off the Marquês de Pombal roundabout at the top of Avenida da Liberdade. It's listed as gay-friendly, not a gay hotel, and gets solid reviews (4.5 from about 870 Google ratings). The main thing it has going for it is transport: Marquês de Pombal metro is next door, with two lines. Príncipe Real, which has most of Lisbon's gay bars, is about a 15-minute walk downhill, and Bairro Alto is a little further. The walk back up is steep, so many guests take a taxi home after a night out.

Room ok but no smart TV and water heat/cold fluctuates nearly got burned Location is good but no car waiting spot. Uber driver had to stop nearby carpark or hotel.

Nice central location and the perfect Eduardo park opposite..the staff was polite and the room was cleaned every day...I didn't use breakfast so I don't have an opinion on that...the negative was the fact that the sewage smelled.

The service and location are great! However, we had a room facing the road and it is very poorly insulated; we can hear all the cars and other horns at night without the possibility of changing rooms without paying extra (we were in a specialized room).

I stayed for 3 nights. The location was excellent. It was great for walking around and convenient for using public transportation. I was also satisfied because there were many good restaurants nearby. The hotel staff were generally friendly. However, the refrigerator in the room was broken, and since they didn't fix or replace it, I had to store my food in the refrigerator at the front desk. The hairdryer was also broken, but the front desk provided a replacement. Also, the toilet wouldn't flush in the middle of the night, so I had a restless night's sleep. They fixed it immediately in the morning. What I liked was that the room was spacious, and the bed was very large, so I could stay comfortably. Since my unit was on the first floor, right above the restaurant, it was a bit noisy during breakfast, but it was nice being close to the hotel entrance. It was a decent place to stay.

Top hotel. Great rooms. Breakfast is also quite good. A perfect hotel for city breaks.
