Here is a short, warm, and natural review you can leave for the hotel: ### Wonderful Stay – Amazing Customer Service! We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The **location** is absolutely perfect, and the **service** throughout our stay was top-notch. What truly blew us away was their incredible empathy and hospitality. Our flight was delayed due to a national strike in Portugal, forcing us to change our plans. The hotel generously **waived the fee for a night**, handling the entire situation with so much grace, kindness, and a pleasant attitude. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back!
Perfect location and friendly staff. Only issue was the aircon which didn't work very well (heard someone else saying similar in reception), however they did provide a fan when we raised the issue a second time and it was ok. Very good sound proofing of the rooms and meant that you could stay in perfect location right on the square without being kept up by street noise. Breakfast was good.
I stayed at Lisboa Carmo Hotel for 5 days and felt very comfortable there. The hotel is located in a beautiful historic building in the city centre. It has spacious rooms, good food, and an amazing staff. :) The staff gave great recommendations for restaurants and shops. When I booked my trip to Lisbon, I wasn’t aware that one of Portugal’s biggest national holidays- Freedom Day- takes place at the end of April. Since the hotel is located in the city centre, the celebrations outside were almost as loud as if they were happening inside the hotel 😅 I was a bit concerned that I wouldn’t be able to rest at night. However, thanks to the staff, who went out of their way to help and accommodate the guests, I received a room on the quiet side of the hotel, so it didn’t disturb my trip. Thank you so much! :)
A good hotel on the square next to the monastery ruins
Awful! Staff doesn't know what they're doing. You will not get what you book
