About This Event
Cluj Pride, organised by Asociația Pride, is a week of community events in Cluj-Napoca. It's a response to Romania's lack of legal recognition for same-sex couples - civil partnerships are the main demand.
The march starts at Piața Unirii, winds through the centre, and ends back at the square. It's not without controversy: a rival "family" rally has been held on the same day in recent years.
The 2026 edition took place 15-21 June. On Sunday, 21 June, thousands turned out for the ninth march, which included speeches from Dutch and French diplomats. As of now, the 2027 dates haven't been announced.
