Hotel Continental
Visitors frequently praise the hotel's excellent location, convenient for accessing city attractions, and many find the facilities, including the pool and gym, to be good. However, some guests report issues with noise disruption at the pool and problems with access to the Tesla superchargers, particularly when the hotel parking is full. Rooms are described by some as dated but charming, while others note cleanliness issues and uncomfortable beds.

A terrible old building. The heating system in the room doesn't cool, but it's loud. The mattresses are worn out. The window leaks, and the heavy street noise is barely muffled. And it's not even cheap; it's expensive by Romanian standards. The staff fits the picture perfectly—no smiles to make guests feel welcome. Well, at least you get a taste of what's to come at reception. Not recommended!
An old building dating back to the communist era. Overall, though, it's quite well-maintained. The unrenovated rooms are basically fine and relatively inexpensive. There are also newly renovated rooms, which look very nice on the posters in the lobby, but they cost considerably more. The outdoor area with the pool is also quite pleasant. You could certainly find more comfortable accommodation elsewhere for the same price. But for a city break, this hotel is perfectly adequate.
The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are nice, and everything is clean, but the staff is terrible. Their hospitality is nonexistent. The only time they seem to smile is when they’re laughing at guests who don’t know something about the hotel. It’s a shame that such a beautiful hotel employs people like this. Because of that, I will never return.
The worst hotel I stayed in in Romania, bar none. The hotel staff themselves refused to provide free parking, and turned away non-guests, even when picking up friends.
