We had a wonderful stay here! The apartment was in a fabulous location and we were upgraded to a river view. The terrace was huge, a perfect place to sit outside and admire the view. The apartment was spotlessly clean, well serviced and, as we booked through their website, even came with a welcome basket of provisions for the next morning. We would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay in Inverness - I can’t imagine being able to find any place better to stay!

Highland Apartments by Mansley was, without exaggeration, the best stay of our trip. We knew going in that we were booking more of an apartment-style accommodation, but this place completely exceeded expectations in almost every way. Yes, it’s slightly pricier than a standard budget hotel, but honestly not by much, and the value you get for that extra money is incredible. The apartment itself was spacious, modern, and genuinely comfortable to live in for a few days rather than just sleep in. The standout feature was the view. We stayed on the first floor and had a massive balcony overlooking the city, and it was absolutely spectacular. Seriously, waking up and sitting outside with that view alone made the stay worth it. Check-in was also incredibly easy and modern, all handled through the app and email instructions without any hassle. Inside, there was a full kitchen, a comfortable living area, a massive bedroom with a large bed, and a bathroom that actually felt luxurious after some of the tighter hotel bathrooms we experienced elsewhere on the trip. The bathroom included a full bath/shower setup, full soaps and toiletries, and even a heated towel rack. There’s no AC, which again is common in Europe, but the provided fans did a great job keeping the apartment comfortable. The TV even had streaming services already logged in, which was a really nice touch after long days exploring. The location is another huge selling point. You’re right in the city center, with restaurants and attractions all around you. Coyote Burger is literally downstairs and was excellent, and major attractions like Edinburgh Castle are only about a five-minute walk away. The train station is also less than 10 minutes away on foot, making it incredibly convenient without sacrificing atmosphere. Overall, this was one of those rare places that genuinely makes your trip better just by staying there. Spacious, comfortable, beautiful, and perfectly located. I would absolutely stay here again without hesitation.

This is a great location and excellent view of the river. The hot water in our apartment was lacking. We had four people in a two bedroom apartment and had o space out showing 45-60 minutes apart. Other than that, this is a great apartment.

I had a confirmed reservation at Highland Apartments by Mansley, which I was forced to cancel due to an airline cancellation completely outside of my control. Despite providing a clear explanation and documentation, the property refused to issue any refund or show even basic flexibility. What’s disappointing is not just the rigid policy—but the complete lack of customer understanding. Situations like flight cancellations are exactly where reputable hospitality businesses step up and show goodwill. Instead, this felt like a “take your money and move on” approach. Travelers should be aware: if anything unexpected happens, you’re on your own. No support, no flexibility, no consideration. In an industry built on service, this was handled poorly. I would strongly reconsider booking here, especially if your travel plans carry any uncertainty.

Amazing and supportive response from the hotel when I needed to cancel my booking. Every effort was made to offer alternative solution to my problem and I will definitely be booking directly with the hotel when I rebook.

The apartment and location were outstanding - clean, comfortable, well equipped for our stay. We experienced some issues with check-in: the access code we were sent did not work, and since it was afterhours we grappled with some uncomfortable challenges getting ahold of someone, but once we finally did the staff was friendly and responsive, and efficiently resolved the issue. We did not have any other problems for the rest of our stay, and we enjoyed the apartment immensely.

This apartment provides a comfortable and welcoming environment with great service and convenient amenities. I would happily recommend it to others and would definitely consider staying here again in the future.
