Park Tivoli

Park Tivoli, Ljubljana's large central park just west of the centre, has a long-standing reputation as an after-dark gay meeting spot, mainly around the wooded areas and car parks at night. Activity is low-key and ambiguous — tolerated rather than official. Slovenia is safe and progressive, but exercise normal caution: some muggings have been reported in the park at night, so stay in areas you can leave easily, keep valuables secure, and prioritise consent and discretion.
