The Sava riverbank at Črnuče, on Ljubljana's northern edge, is a long-standing naturist stretch that Slovenian guides list as the city's summer outdoor gay meeting area. It appears here for that history, not as a recommendation. Same-sex marriage has been legal in Slovenia since 2022 and the climate is relaxed, but sexual acts in public can be fined as a public-order offence. A peaceful walk along the gravel road along the Sava River, car access is not allowed, but is possible. The Črnušnica is trapped in a concrete trough, so it is not very interesting, and it flows into the Sava River with a small waterfall. You can rest on a bench above the outlet, and there is an easily accessible sandy riverbank nearby.

Today I was at this confluence on my bike for the first time in my life, even though I have lived in Črnuče for 25 years. The Črnušnica stream flows into the Sava near the Tomačevje bypass on the left bank of the Sava.
