Hotel Bilbao Plaza

Good location, simple, clean, and pleasant hotel with very friendly staff. Parking is fine on level -1, but using the elevator to reach level -2 is quite an adventure with a medium-to-large car.

Great value hotel, opening soon, excellent location. The room I had was fantastic, very comfortable bed. Highly recommended.

Rooms aren't great. No safe. No tea/coffee making facility in the room. Could only provide one extra pillow when requested. But decent location.

I have never received such terrible treatment at a hotel. We arrived exhausted at our room; my son had been driving for hours. When we tried to use the shower, only scalding hot water came out. We called, and after more than an hour, someone came and told us they would call a technician. I asked to be moved to another room, and they told us the hotel was full. We went out to dinner without showering, and when we returned, the problem was still unresolved. We asked for another room, and they told us the hotel was full. We said we would leave. Thankfully, we booked another hotel, and just as we were about to leave, they told us there were rooms available. They made us go through all that ordeal even though there were rooms available. These are truly people who shouldn't be providing this service. They give this beautiful city a bad name. Furthermore, the walls and windows were dirty, and the room smelled awful. Don't go there; there are better hotels with much kinder and more empathetic staff. They also refused to refund our payment, even though it was entirely their fault that we had to leave the hotel. Hopefully the authorities will intervene, because even though they made the mistake, they didn't reimburse us.

Excellent location for visiting the city center, the Guggenheim Museum, and the most characteristic places. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is located in the best spot of the city, in a walking distance from the Museums, the old city and the new city center. The rooms are big enough and face the river. The breakfast is typical for this category of hotel.
