Apart-hotel Serrano Recoletos

The hotel was fine, but I had very noisy neighbors. Although I complained to reception several times, and I know they came up, I wasn't able to sleep until I went in person to ask them to be quiet. The rooms have a few minor issues, but they're very good for the price.

Imagine trying to sleep after a long day in the middle of a bar—that's exactly how it feels here. I spent three nights at this apartment and couldn't sleep because more than 50 people gather on the street right outside the main entrance. There is constant laughter, shouting, arguing, and noise throughout the night. I complained, but the morning staff told me there was nothing they could do. A very disappointing experience.

Location is great, service in nice. Cleaning needs improvement especially in the bathroom, there was a big evidence of mould in the roof, and shower.

Excellent service

Large room, excellent location, and friendly reception. Looking forward to returning. Ideal for visiting museums, shopping, or working.

WARNING!!! IF YOU WANT TO REST, DO NOT CHOOSE THESE APARTMENTS. They are located next to nightclubs, and it's impossible to sleep until 6 AM. So, if your intention is to rest in Madrid, this is not the place. Even if you close the windows, it's as if they're open because they are not well insulated.
