Clarion Hotel Draken

The experience from booking to check-out was not a desirable one. First I had paid, then I had not paid which ended up with me having to pay double the amount and having to wait for a refund. Tried to check in via the app but it was a hassle. Once checked in the key cards did not work and the glasses were sticky and dirty in the room. When we were going to check out it did not work again via the app and there was a hassle at the reception. Maybe all this was bad luck but I never felt particularly friendly from the staff. Will not book Hotel Draken again.

The rooms are very nice and comfortable, and the hotel premises are of a high standard. Unfortunately, the overall impression is let down by the breakfast. At check-in we were asked to book a breakfast time, but when we got there there were so many people that it was barely possible to get to the buffet. It felt like far too many guests were being let in at the same time. In the end, we chose to go and have breakfast in Haga instead. If you want to be able to have breakfast in peace and quiet, it may be worth planning to eat somewhere else. Unfortunately, the breakfast arrangement did not work at all during our visit.

Superb breakfast, but very noisy in the dining room so I recommend bringing headphones. Plus there was a kettle in the room.

The hotel is excellently located in relation to bars, restaurants and public transport. But at the same time in the middle of a construction chaos that makes it impossible to drive to the hotel at the same time as the hotel lacks its own parking. The hotel is relatively new and the restaurant offers a fantastic view of the harbor entrance.

Nice and spacious hotel. But it's sad when you can't sleep because the room is too hot. The AC didn't work. Not even night 2 despite us telling them. There were no windows that could be opened.
