What reviewers say

Visitors praise the unique experience of staying on a boat with nice harbor views and a good breakfast. However, some found the rooms to be small, the deck area disappointing compared to online pictures, and parking fees to be high.

Nice hotel that did what it was supposed to. Fun to stay on the water with a view of all the activities that happen here. The city can be reached in about 30 minutes. Unfortunately, there was a lot of rebuilding in Gothenburg when we visited the city, but the hotel is not to be blamed for that. There was a good solid breakfast buffet, but since the bar was in absolute peak session, it can be difficult to find a table if you arrive around 9 am. We solved that by going out to the aft deck, where we then, in addition to enjoying fantastic weather, could follow the fascinating experience of watching the Hisingsbroen bridge open and close for ships. The hotel is a bit worn, it is being maintained, but the service was fine and the rooms ok, although you had to twist a bit to get around - but oh well - we were also on a ship 😊

Here is an objective and fair Google review: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ We spent two nights at the Good Morning Hotel in Gothenburg. The location is a plus: the harbor is easily accessible on foot, making the hotel a good base for a short stay. The parking fees of around €35 per day were somewhat disappointing. Unfortunately, the reception staff were not very helpful when we asked about a cheaper parking option within walking distance. Overall, the hotel is more reminiscent of a youth hostel. The rooms are quite small and seem a bit dated. The entire building could also use some maintenance and attention in certain areas. Breakfast was okay, but fell short of our expectations by Swedish standards. The selection was rather limited, and the quality wasn't as high as we've experienced in other hotels in Sweden. For an overnight stay, the hotel is certainly suitable due to its good location. However, for a longer stay, we would choose different accommodations.

A unique experience. A floating platform designed like a ship in the harbor. The sea-facing rooms have a beautiful view, but the rooms are a bit small. Breakfast is average but sufficient.

Affordable, quite close to the central station. Good breakfast! Could have been cooler in the rooms, and more pillows. Also missing some kind of small fridge.
