Jönköping Pride

Jönköping Pride is the city's community-driven LGBTQ+ festival, held each August and organised by the non-profit association Jönköping Qom Ut (active since 2013) together with the municipality and local partners such as Kulturhuset Spira, Jönköping University and Svenska kyrkan, alongside RFSL Jönköping. The week typically opens with a celebration at Kulturhuset Spira and builds to a Saturday parade through the city centre, alongside lectures, café evenings and cultural programming. It is a smaller, grassroots Pride rather than a big commercial event — warm, local and welcoming. In 2026 the Pride week ran 17–23 August with the parade on Saturday 22 August.
