About This Event
Stockholm Pride pulls hundreds of thousands of people into the Swedish capital over Pride Week, one of Europe's biggest. It splits into two main parts: Pride District, the ticketed festival hub, and the free Pride Parade that closes everything out on the final Saturday.
In 2026 the festival site has moved south to Slakthusomradet, the old meatpacking district near Globen, and been rebranded Pride District — outdoor stages, performances, debates and exhibitions, an easy ride on the green metro line to Globen or Enskede gard.
The Pride Parade steps off from Norr Malarstrand near City Hall on Saturday, August 1 at 13:00, then winds about 4.5 kilometres through the city centre to Slussplan.
Stockholm hosted EuroPride back in 2008. (WorldPride 2021 was held next door, in Copenhagen and Malmo — not Stockholm.)
It isn't only a party. There's a serious cultural and human-rights programme threaded through the week alongside the nightlife. Book your hotel or Airbnb well ahead — the city fills up.

Practical Tips
Bring ID at the gate
Wristbands are handed out at the entrance. Anyone under 15 needs a guardian; Pride Kinky is 18+ and the door checks are strict.
Grab the 3-day pass
A 3-day District pass runs 690 SEK (350 reduced) versus 390 for a single day, so if you plan two nights in the park it already pays for itself.
Skip the car, take the tunnelbana
Globen metro puts you 400 m from the District gate, and Gullmarsplan is a five-minute walk on the other side. Parade day closes central streets — the metro is faster anyway.
Land at Slussen for the parade
The march ends at Slussplan. From there the metro fans out across the city, and it is the natural place to grab dinner before the District opens at 14:00.
