About this place Mälarpaviljongen

Mälarpaviljongen is a waterfront venue located on Söder Mälarstrand in Stockholm's vibrant Södermalm neighbourhood, one of the city's most lively and welcoming districts. Situated directly along the water with views of Lake Mälaren, this is the kind of place where you can enjoy a meal or drinks while taking in Stockholm's beautiful natural surroundings. The venue caters to a diverse clientele and hosts various events throughout the year, making it a social hub for locals and visitors alike. Stockholm's Södermalm has a well-established LGBTQ+ scene, and waterfront venues like this one are popular gathering spots, particularly during the warmer months when outdoor seating becomes especially appealing. The location is accessible and well-connected to the rest of the city. A very mediocre self-service restaurant. The burger 🍔 was very poor and very expensive, served with chips. Definitely not a good restaurant, look elsewhere.

“-“: the service is not much interested at their guests, willing to peck up your plate even cutleries are on the paus position. The tables are dirty. Too much ice in aperol. “+”: the location, the view. Toilets are clean and authentic. Food is ok, but beautifully presented. You order at the counter and pay right away.

Not to be missed, on the seafront, typical Swedish pastries, excellent savoury dishes too, and wonderful waitresses, which never hurts.
