No fridge, regulated HVAC ie no airflow, a shower in the middle of the room, audible traffic noise. Nothing at this location provides any worthwhile home comfort for what you are charged. Good luck with buying chocolate as they will simply melt away in the summer heat. Might need to create a makeshift cooler and fill it with ice just to keep things cool in the room.

Modern hotel near the train station and a nice little room. You could even use the hotel sauna if you asked. A little bit far from the best locations in the city center but it is hard to find such a good hotel near the station. There is no fridge in the room. The luggage storage does not tag or monitor the bags. Satisfied with this place as I was not expecting a luxury hotel.

Overall, I had a really pleasant stay and would gladly return. I am giving this hotel 5 stars largely because of the wonderful people who work here. The ladies at the bar and during breakfast were the definition of genuine hospitality: warm, attentive, and professional. One of the gentlemen at check-in was also exceptionally kind and helpful, which made a great first impression. What I liked: • The room was comfortable and had everything I needed for my stay. • I appreciated being able to adjust the room temperature myself. • Breakfast was excellent. There was a good selection of Swiss and French brands, delicious cheeses, plenty of fresh fruit, homemade yogurt, and a variety of breads, including gluten-free options. The coffee was surprisingly good for a machine coffe. The cappuccino was honestly one of the best I've had in a hotel, and I travel quite a lot for business. • The bar had a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff were very kind and welcoming. I did not try the food from the bar, so I cannot comment on it. • The location is very convenient, within walking distance of the central train station, the boat station, and the old town. If you're buying a 24-hour public transport ticket, don't forget that the public boats are included and it's a wonderful way to travel from the river to the lake. • The electronic window blinds were very useful, especially considering the position of the shower cabin. • The hotel was clean throughout my stay, and I appreciated the high standards of cleanliness. • It was quiet, which made it easy to rest. • The bed was comfortable. • There is an ironing station on the second floor, which is very convenient for business travellers. • There are good options available at reception if you need to buy a late-night snack. Complimentary coffee near the reception was a nice touch. • I loved that the windows could be opened, allowing fresh air into the room. • You can safely drink the tap water. This is Switzerland, after all, and the water quality is excellent. What I didn't like: • The transparent shower cabin located in the middle of the room may not be ideal for everyone and offers limited privacy. • The mirrors on the ceiling felt a bit unusual and weren't really to my taste. • The bathroom was quite small, and the automatically closing doors were rather loud. • No safe to store my valuables or laptop Despite these minor drawbacks, I genuinely enjoyed my stay. The outstanding staff, cleanliness, excellent breakfast, and convenient location made for a very positive experience. Thank you to the team for making me feel welcome.

Strategic location!

This is my second time staying at this hotel, which enjoys a strategic location, a 10-minute walk from the station and a stone's throw from Niederdorfstrasse. Small but very functional rooms. Super comfortable mattress. Excellent breakfast. Only downside: the reception staff doesn't speak German, only English. Great value for money.

【Location】The hotel is about a 7-minute walk from Zurich Central Station. As others have mentioned, there is a gentle slope leading up to the hotel. However, it's not so steep that it's difficult to climb even with a large suitcase. There is a supermarket at or near the station, within walking distance. 【Services】There is free coffee, tea, and a water dispenser on the first floor. They also sell things like pizza and small cup noodles, so you won't have any trouble finding a late-night snack. 【Room】 There is no refrigerator in the room. Bath towels, face towels, and a bath mat are provided. There is no bathtub, only a shower room. (The overhead shower is very pleasant!) Shampoo and body soap are provided in the shower room. It's best to bring your own conditioner if needed. A hairdryer was also provided (though it wasn't very powerful). There are two sets of power outlets (Type C) and two USB ports (next to the bed and next to the TV). There was enough space for one person, and I had a comfortable stay.
