Nice little venue with different events.

Review written for the dance club in the basement. Sound quality was very low from several positions besides the corner where the sound/light controller sat (too much bass at the bench opposite the DJ box and too much treble on the dance floor). The club amenities and lighting are all very basic and for a £17.00 ticket for a few hours evening DJing, I believe 'Patterns' can invest more in this venue and offer the paying customer a better experience. Also, it would be great to make a point of "no phones on the dancefloor"... Seeing anyone, let alone ~40/50 y/olds filming at dance club these days is nauseating. Underground isn't just a basement and everything painted black, it's a certain way of doing things.

Had a great night at Midland, great venue with great sound and amazing staff, notably Ruby and Callum who went above and beyond to get us a signed midland poster and made our night!

We came for the New Years Day disco and had a great time, really good vibes and atmosphere, cool decor and stress-free at all points. Would recommend!

This was a great venue for a night out, offering free tickets for a Saturday night event in December! Presentation is nice of the lines of wood above the counter and Christmas tinsel is pretty, atmosphere was friendly not the busiest spot in Brighton compared to clubs though if you're expecting somewhere packed.
