The Bull (Hotel)

Lovely hotel in a great area. Room was really comfortable and cosy. Staff very attentive and always happy to help. Didn’t have evening meal but the breakfast was delicious. Will be back

We had a super nice stay at The Bull - as an overnight stop whilst walking the South Downs Way. It has a real wow factor - our room was gorgeous - super comfortable, spacious, and just "cool". Harvey took good care of us on arrival, and reserved us a good table in the pub for our evening meal. The pub was bustling and busy, but in a good way - not overly noisy, but full of people enjoying themselves - just how a pub should be. The food was super delicious. We both had the one pot chicken cooked in a mustard sauce, which was yummy, followed by a desert - for me the chocolate brownie with ice-cream. The staff were all attentive without being overly pushy. Just helpful! In the morning, Philomena was super friendly - even lending us her newspaper to thumb through whilst we waited for our breakfast to be cooked. There were lots of delicious choices! All in all, this was a place that it would be a real treat to return to. It wasn't cheap, but it was memorably nice!

Easy to find and get to from London. Lovely big rooms with a well stocked mini bar. Ideal for a bit of a getaway. Busy road outside but didn’t affect us, slept in fine.

We had another wonderful stay here at the Bull. The rooms are beautiful and the food is fantastic. Thank you to the team for their hospitality and being kind and helpful. They were incredibly diligent and generous in helping return a forgotten item to us after we left. Can highly recommend for either an overnight stay, dinner or a drink by the fire! We will be back again. Thank you.

Had a wonderful stay here with my mum. We stayed in room 6 which was lovely, the staff are very friendly, room was gorgeous and clean. The food was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend.

A very pleasant Sunday night stay at The Bull. Room was a little bit tired, service was friendly & excellent, lovely dinner (especially the nut roast), relaxing breakfast in the bar area.

I had the bull burger and it was outstanding and the waitress named Deanna was very nice and friendly, cheers to her and I will definitely come to this pub again.

We had a lovely stay for a friends funeral. The room we had was perfect and very comfortable and quiet.We enjoyed food there also in the bar downstairs.

Would have been an amazing stay if not for the frankly disgusting service by philo The way we heard her speaking to her staff was abysmal and we will not be returning
