What an amazing stay. We have stayed in a few different rooms at the Bells and they have all been incredible. The young lady (Mia) at the desk was so polite and friendly and the smell in the building is sensational

If you’re looking for a party place this is it! Unfortunately, I wasn’t but I was still subjected to loud music and banging doors and shouting from the apartment next door first in the early evening, then it stopped about 8pm only to start again at about 10pm until gone 2am in the morning. Topped off by being woken up by the upstairs apartment walking around at 6am, because there is no soundproofing. Never mind the noise whenever the upstairs apartment used their toilet. The pictures look nice but the fridge was dirty and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The bathroom had a a damp musty smell, probably caused by the grout being broken and worn away in places and the toilet seemed to be contacting trickling water. The mattress was hard and uncomfortable. Netflix suddenly stopped working part way through watching a programme and other apps on the TV didn’t work. The bath had loose chromewear which made it uncomfortable. I tried contacting the ‘guest chat’ on WhatsApp in the early evening. Despite it apparently being available during business hours, the message is still unread a week later. I contacted the mobile number on the guest card, as reception isn’t manned, about the noise from the next apartment later in the night and got no reply. After raising it the next day I was told that I should have rang a different number, which is manned 24 hours a day. No where does it say that on the website or in the guest info in the room (which was incredibly sparse). I was offered 20% of my next stay but no recognition about the lack of clarity over support for guests. I don’t ever want to stay there again. Definitely a case of style over substance.

Amazing apartment. The decor is high quality and high standard and creates an amazing atmosphere. The scent as you walk in is incredible and accents the decor perfectly. The greeting we received was welcoming and professional, the staff were on hand to make our stay perfect, no questions asked. We will be staying again, was a perfect spot after a day spent shopping and attending events in Leeds.
